Casa Louise: Not available from Nov through April 2026

Conveniently located steps away from the Jardine and its famous Parroquia, Casa Louise is an oasis in the heart of Centro in San Miguel de Allende. It is also a pleasant stroll to tranquil Juarez Parque, the Rosewood Hotel, and the numerous shops and restaurants the town has to offer. 

Built in the classic Spanish Colonial style, the house blends old-world charm with modern conveniences and comfortably accommodates five people. Boveda ceilings, espresso-stained herringbone tile flooring, and seashell architectural motifs are a few of the classic details found throughout. 

Two floors of living space include a powder room, living room, dining room, and fully-equipped kitchen on the ground floor. On the second floor, you’ll find three bedrooms — each with an ensuite washroom and walk-in closet — and a laundry room. The middle bedroom doubles as a library, with a wide assortment of books and a view into the front courtyard.

As you step through the front door and make your way down a Cantera hall lined with elegant hanging lanterns, you’ll move seamlessly into a courtyard where lush jasmine vines envelop an intimate outdoor dining area complete with a tiled fountain.

At the back of the house, through floor-to-ceiling glass doors off the living room, is a romantic walled garden filled with bougainvillea, elephant ear palms, olive trees and succulents. A deep-blue tiled plunge pool framed by another fountain creates a magical backdrop especially when lit up at night.

Everything here is artfully and tastefully appointed. You’ll find the ambiance provides a feeling of warmth and intimacy, further highlighted by three gas fireplaces — in the living room, and two of the bedrooms — much welcomed in the cooler winter months of central Mexico.   

On the rooftop terrace, you’ll find an outdoor lounge seating arrangement nestled in a cocoon of greenery —  with a view back to the domes and spires of the Jardine. And towards the back of the roof are two chaise lounges set under the overhang of a palapa — an ideal place to watch the day slide into evening.

Price includes:
— Housekeeping from Monday through Friday (or 3 days a week), breakfast and/or lunch on housekeeping days, and some help buying groceries. 
— Gardening 3 times a week.
