Casa Baeza

 As you walk through an old wooden door off the private street, you enter a small garden area leading to the front door of the home. This gracious home offers large rooms and Mexican Colonial architectural features such as Boveda ceilings, interior stone walls, elegant cantera stone arches and a number of outdoor sitting areas, designed to enjoy the eternal spring-like weather of this Central Mexico mountain city. The ample living room has two sets of French doors -- one on either side of the large and cozy fireplace --- which lead to the beautiful covered terrace and the lush garden beyond. The separate dining room with its beautiful stone wall also has access to the outdoors and is adjacent to the kitchen. The open kitchen allows for friends and family to linger by the fire in the family room while keeping the cook company.
