I know of a few clients who have been successful with having a document notarized online for leasing agreements and some banking documents. 

However, if you need a document notarized and apostilled for closing on a property, you will need to check with the apostille service that you are using - in most cases, the apostille service will require you to be there in person to notarize a document. The notario might require you to be there in person as well.
