The city has made it relatively easy to pay your property taxes (el predial).

Your first option is to pay online by going to the San Miguel government website here: https://pago-predial.sanmiguelallende.gob.mx/simprecad.php You’ll click on your type of account (urbana or rústica), which is indicated at the top of your predial form. You’ll then be asked to enter your “numero de cuenta”. This number is also at the top of your predial form, but note that you’ll need to start with the first letter, and add the rest of the digits. There should be 10 in total. From there you can pay through the banks provided, or print the bank info and pay at your preferred bank.

Your second option is to go to one of the predial cashiers in town, located within these buildings: Municipal Administration Building of San Miguel, Blvd de la Conspiración 130, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. SAPASMA en Prolongación de Alcocer No. 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (enero y febrero) Municipal Palace, Principal 8, Zona Centro (in the Jardin) from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
