To ensure that you are not a victim of fraud, once you receive the wire transfer instructions, which you will need to send your deposit and final payment to the escrow company, talk to your agent over the phone and verbally confirm any wire transfer instructions before wiring funds.

The wire transfer instructions will not change between the time of your initial deposit and closing. Do not accept any change in instructions received via email or text.
