Day of Corpus Christi
Celebrated on the Thursday following the first Sunday after Pentecost, typically late June.
This important religious holiday marks the end of the Easter season and celebrates the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Be sure to take a walk around Centro on this day, as the decorations are quite beautiful. A traditional procession leaves the Parroquia following a 6pm mass and includes fireworks, music, flowers, and children and young people dressed in white.
