San Miguel Writers' Conference
Usually begins around the 2nd weekend of February.
Both for writers and those who simply love to read, the conference includes lectures, intensive workshops, the opportunity to "pitch" an agent, and more. In the past, the conference has hosted such prestigious authors as Barbara Kingsolver, Tom Robbins and Margaret Atwood. Most meetings are held at the Hotel Real de Minas. For more details, go here.
