Yolanda Lacarieri

Since the very first moment that Yolanda arrived in San Miguel in 1993, she knew that this magic town was going to be her home.

She has operated her own very successful business, a boutique store located in the main square, since 1995.

Back in Mexico City, where she was born, she studied Literature in the Universidad Iberoamericana, one of the most renowned universities in Mexico.

Right after finishing college, Yolanda worked at a stock brokerage firm and in an insurance company. She looked for these jobs because she enjoys direct contact with clients and assisting them.

Yolanda considers herself a great guide for those people that want to get to know this special town very well and everything it has to offer to everybody; whether you are looking to buy a house to have a great life here, or to start a new business, or to invest in real estate properties, or to become a new artist in town, Yolanda can be your guide.

Yolanda is also a member of the Bilingual Committee of the San Miguel International Writer’s Conference and the Author’s Sala.

She is an avid reader and a writer. She has published several books, covering styles such as poetry, fiction novel and short stories for both children and grown-ups.

For more than 15 years, Yolanda has had her own radio show, which has been focused entirely since the beginning to promote the love for the literature, and to encourage people to read.
