Patricia Merrill Marquez was born right here in San Miguel de Allende of a dual heritage: Mexican local mom and a Yankee dad from Massachusetts who came to San Miguel in 1946 on the GI bill. Much of her first studies were done in the U.S. Her professional studies include a degree in architecture from the University of Guanajuato as well as Master's in City and Regional Planning, Enviromental Desoign, and diploma in Real state brokerage. She has worked in Mexico in all these arenas. She is also the author of the Buen Provecho book and gives talks on humor and surprises in Mexican cooking and culture.
Patricia is a member of AMPI, the local organization of real estate professionals.
