When I first moved to San Miguel and was wondering where to live, an acquaintance said to me, "Does Guadiana mean anything to you?"  Now, after having lived in San Miguel for many years, I can say with all confidence, Guadiana means everything.  It's mostly residential, which translates into a peaceful little neighborhood with its own park.  It's a flat, 10 minute walk to Centro and even less to local stores and restaurants, so you can't say too much about its convenience.  And it's pretty - homeowners have worked hard to keep not only the park but also their own properties looking good.
